Schools
Circus Show
This is a 1-hour show targeted at 4 – 7 year olds. For
small schools it goes very well with the whole age range.
Cost is £100 – April, May … £150 – June, July.
Circus Workshops
Special Schools
Working in these schools has greatly developed my teaching skills. Activities are tailored to age + ability of class. There is emphasis on fun for SLD, MLD, Deaf, Blind and Autistic pupils. There are more challenging skills for EBD pupils including the £5 for five yards on a Unicycle. The Blind pupils were the biggest surprise. Up for anything including stiltwalking! Some special schools book me for weeklong projects. As well as adding a ‘fun’ atmosphere to the school, skills can be developed over the week.
Secondary Schools
Sometimes there are special needs and/or disaffected pupils at these schools. These can easily be motivated to work hard and achieve with the activities I give them. This gives teachers a fresh insight into their capabilities. Skills learnt include juggling, diabolo, plate spinning, unicycle, stilt walking and tightrope along with other novelties.
Primary Schools
For the 3 - 7 year olds there is a mini show
first. They then play and learn on the novelty carts, tightrope and
trampolines. They also dress up as clowns. For the older 8 – 11 year old
children the whole group do workshops in 2 ball juggling tricks, toothbrush twirling,
peacock feather balancing and plate manipulation. Then its fun on all the
equipment.
Cost is £300 a day.
Magic Workshops
SENCo’s may be interested in these to encourage
their clumsy pupils to improve their co-ordination skills. Being able to
perform gives them the incentive to practice and improve their mobility.
I shall add some up to date photo’s sometime with all the equipment.
